Piazza Gramsci - Bari (1986)back to Buildings

The building complex destined for the new headquarters of the Labor Ministry overlooks the promenade of Bari. The smaller “L” shaped side of the building overlooking Piazza Gramsci rises for six floors above the ground whereas the larger side overlooking Via F. Filzi rises for four floors above the ground covering a volume of approximately 10,000 cubic metres. The building also has a floor under the ground used as a car park. The overall area of the building is 4,700 square metres approximately given over to offices, stores, warehouses and common areas. The building was built “all inclusive” and was completed in 1986.
